John Mueller: Crowdfunding towards Creative Independence [Panel Discussion]

Proudly Presented by Takapuna Art Supplies

Join Award-winning author, illustrator, concept designer and art director John Mueller as he breaks down the process of successfully crowdfunding independent projects.

After raising over $200k USD between the digitally-remaster of his 1995 cult-classic OINK – Heaven’s Butcher, and his own indie studio Skyshine Games’ first title BEDLAM via Kickstarter, John is a veteran in crowdfunding creator-owned independent projects.  Join him as he delves into the process of taking an idea from concept to campaign and practicalities such as: kickstarter audience, shipping costs, priming the pump before you launch a crowdfunding event, when to launch, and much more.  John will also compare and contrast between the two crowdfunding campaigns, break down how funds were used, as well as successes and mistakes learnt along the way.
