Michel Mulipola

Michel Mulipola is a Samoan comic book artist based in Auckland. He is a 2006 Gibson Award winner for Best NZ Artist and a
2013 Grand Finalist in the Secret Walls X Aotearoa competition. In 2016, his work on the Samoan Heroes book garnered a
Storylines 2016 Notable Book Award.
Michel is currently working on the the American graphic novel series, Headlocked: The Last Territory.
When he’s not drawing comics, Michel can be found at the Arkham City Comics store as well as kicking as in an Impact Pro Wrestling ring.
